Iran’s response to Trump threat to destroy Kharg Island
Trump threatens to destroy Kharg Island, Iran’s oil export hub. Already Thousands of US paratroopers, marines, and special forces soldiers have reportedly been deployed to the Middle East as Washington considers seizing the key oil hub, which handles most of Iran’s crude exports.
The US president said he would destroy the island, which houses oil wells, power plants, and other civilian infrastructure, if a deal is not soon reached to end the war.
And during a speech, Trump has also threatened to bomb regime ‘back to Stone Ages,’ threatening to attack Tehran’s oil and energy supplies if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened.
His address came after huge bombing raids targeted an IRGC missile base in Baharestan, Isfahan.
Earlier, Iran has named these 18 US companies, claiming they are spies for the US, to be targetted; namely: Google, Amazon, Intel, Apple, Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Meta, IBM, Dell, JP Morgan Chase, GE, Spire Solution, Boeing and Oracle, as well as electric car Tesla, analytics firm Palantir, and chip giant Nvidia.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) attacked Oracle’s data center in Dubai on Thursday, according to state media. Dubai’s media office, however, denied this claim later that day.
Also on Thursday, two drones targeted a US diplomatic facility near Baghdad Airport in Iraq, security sources said.
Earlier on Thursday, the IRGC attacked an Amazon cloud computing center in Bahrain, “in retaliation for attacks on Iran,” according to reports by the Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA) on Thursday.
Bahrain’s Interior Ministry said earlier on Wednesday that civil defense teams were extinguishing a fire at a company facility following what authorities described as an Iranian attack.
Iranian attacks across region
A drone crashed inside Iraq’s Trebil border crossing with Jordan on Thursday, security sources said, damaging customs clearance offices.
In addition, the Islamic Republic’s semi-official Fars News Agency listed several bridges as potential military targets on Thursday, including bridges in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, and Jordan.
Also on Thursday, Iran’s Mehr reported that the Islamic regime had carried out drone attacks against US fighter jets at Jordan’s Al Azraq base.

A day after sounding conciliatory and suggesting a deal could be reached this week, Trump wrote on his Truth Social network that the United States is in “serious discussions” with “a more reasonable regime” in Tehran. But he added an ominous warning.
“If for any reason a deal is not shortly reached, which it probably will be, and if the Hormuz Strait is not immediately ‘Open for Business,’ we will conclude our lovely ‘stay’ in Iran by blowing up and completely obliterating all of their Electric Generating Plants, Oil Wells and Kharg Island (and possibly all desalinization plants!),” Trump warned.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt repeated the administration’s insistence that the US war against Iran should be over within another two weeks. Trump “has always stated four to six weeks, estimated timeline,” Leavitt told reporters. “We’re on day 30 today. So again, you do the math.” “He wants to see a deal over the next 10 days,” she added.
In response, Iran fired missiles across the Middle East on Tuesday as its capital was hit by fresh explosions, after US President Donald Trump threatened the country’s key oil export hub, power stations and desalination plants.
