The Ukraine war: the US will ramp up military presence across Europe! This is a result of a misguided strategic thinking “We Must Fight Them Over There So We Don’t Have To Fight Them Over Here.”

The US will increase its military presence across Europe as Nato agreed a “fundamental shift” in its response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
A permanent army headquarters will be created in Poland, while new US warships will go to Spain, fighter jets to the UK and ground troops to Romania.
Mr Biden said Nato was “needed now more than it has ever been.”
The alliance is having its biggest overhaul since the Cold War, Nato head Jens Stoltenberg said.
The new plan in response to Russia’s invasion will mean well over 300,000 troops – spearheaded by the US – at high readiness next year, up from the current level of 40,000.
Mr Biden told a summit in Madrid that Nato would be “strengthened in all directions across every domain – land, air and sea”.
“We Must Fight Them Over There So We Don’t Have To Fight Them Over Here” but the real US problem is over here! Everyday there are caravens of migrants heading to the Mexican border and crossing into the US from the Global South. A couple of millions accumulative year on year added to those already here.
One Report by McKinsey says of the 60 millions Latinos are already in the US that had migrated from the South; they often live in ‘deserts’ where adequate housing, groceries are hard to find. “Nearly 9 in 10 of the Latino residents in such communities lived in five states: California, Florida, New Jersey, New York and Texas.”
McKinsey: Latinos are projected to make up 22.4 percent of the US labor force by 2030 and more than 30 percent by 2060 (Latinos population to 111.2 million by ’60).
The followings already have Spanish as their second language: Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Mississippi, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virgina, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Massachusetts, Rhodes Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland.
The minor exceptions are: North Dakota (German), Maine (French), Vermont (French), New Hampshire (French), Louisiana (French), Alaska (Yupik), Hawaii (Tagalog).
And given enough time, and as certain as the sun will rise tomorrow, the US will be swarmed by the Global South!
