— the butler, his position will restore him to his office

Chapter 61

— Pharaoh king of Egypt commanded the sons of Jacob
— to assist the Egyptians in building a royal palace in Egypt
— but this time Angeas hearkened and consented to Zepho
— as numerous as sand to fight the sons of Jacob in Egypt
— including Balaam, who understood the art of witchcraft
— Zepho (a posterity of Esau) became king and reigned
— over the land of Chittim and the land of Italia fifty years

— the children of Moab allied with the children of Midian

— at a banquet, the lad Moses stretched forth his hand upon
— the king’s crown and placed it on his own head
— Balaam identified this lad to be a destroyer of Egypt
— but an angel interfered and the Lord was with him
— Moses stayed in Pharaoh’s house: all Egyptians love him

— Moses, at eighteen years old, smote a bullying Egyptian
— Pharaoh heard of this affair and ordered Moses to be slain
— so God sent his angel, and he appeared in the likeness

— the slain of children of Ephraim remained in Gath unburied

~ Chapter 76

— Moses was still king in the land of Cush
— Adoniah the queen decided to oust Moses from the throne
— and they made Menacrus, son of Kikianus, king over them
— Moses went forth from the land of Cush, to deliver his kinsmen
— and Reuel, a Midianite, took Moses and put him into a prison

— Pharaoh Adikam, ugly and just a cubit, reigned over Egypt

— and Zipporah bare two sons: first Gershom, second Eliezer
— Pharaoh greatly increased the labor of the Israelites
— the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob heard their cries

— inflammation and boils in the skins of the Egyptians
— and a very heavy hail, locusts; and darkness for three days
— and finally, the Lord smote all the first born of the Egyptians
— the children of Israel asked the Egyptians, vessels of silver
— vessels of gold, garments, and they stripped the Egyptians
— they brought up, each man his father’s coffin of his tribe

Chapter 81

— the Israelites journeyed from Goshen to Rameses to Succoth
— a mixed multitude went with them, and their flocks and herds
— after the third day the Egyptians had buried their first born
— many regretted they had sent them away from their servitude
— and seven hundred thousand men pursued them to their death
— the Egyptians came after them, and they all drown in the sea
— and when the Israelites were in Rephidim, Amalek the grandson

Chapter 85

— king Arad the Canaanite arranged to fight against the Israelites
— the children of Levi rose up and fought against other Israelites
— Moab would not suffer the Israelites to pass through his land

— the Lord said, “Do not besiege the children of Ammon”
— and Balak, king of Moab, sought advice from Balaam
— the Lord said to Balaam, Curse not this people for it is blessed

— kindled the Lord’s anger by sending a pestilence against Israel

~ Chapter 86

— Lord said to Moses for another census from 20 years old males
— and the number was 700, 730 that could go forth in the army
— the Lord had told them that they would die in the wilderness
— the children of Israel warred against Midian; they slew all males
— the Israelites also slew Balaam, the son of Beor, the magician

— but after this, the men of Ai smote thirty-six men of Israel

— “Sun, and thou moon, stand thou still upon Gibeon”

— after the death of Joshua, some Canaanites still in the land

— and the Lord replied, “Judah shall go up”
— the children of Judah asked Simeon to team up with them
— they fought against Adonibezek in Bezek and in Jerusalem
— the Lord gave the whole land of Canaan to the Israelites
